Sustainability is an important topic for everybody. To make a positive impact we have to work together. We need our suppliers, our mother company Bunzl and our employees for that. And you.

When it comes to sustainability Bunzl wants to lead the way. Just like us. As distributor we are not tied to specific materials or products, which gives us the possibility to find a sustainable solution for each customers. Since 2001, Bunzl has been a is member of the FTSE4Good index, which only includes companies that meet the highest global standards of sustainability.

Within Bunzl Netherland we carry the sustainable policy “Believe”. This national policy is built up from 5 different pillars which all relate to sustainability and social equality.

We offer a sustainable product assortment, search for and develop sustainable relationships with supply chain partners, and we also audit the working conditions at our foreign manufacturers, as the happiness of all our employees is important to us.

Together with suppliers

We consider our suppliers as partners. We only work with partners who take good care of their employees, ensure good working conditions and are environmentally responsible in their production.

To make sure all our partners work according our high standards, purchasing colleagues verify through audited processes whether the norms are properly complied with. In case a supplier does not comply, we give them the opportunity to improve. When insufficient improvement is made Worldpack can and will choose to stop this partnership.

We engage with all our employees. That’s why we score so well in our bi-yearly employee satisfaction survey!

Through our Bunzl Academies (workshops for and by employees on topics that improve knowledge and personal growth) we make sure our employees keep developing themselves. All employees receive a yearly personal budget for training or coaching.
